Nuno Bettencourt talks about his guitars Washburn N4

Nuno Bettencourt from Extreme, the funk master. This guy really knows how to get the funk out of his guitar. He's my favourite guitarist for rhythm riffs. Nuno's main guitar gear is his Washburn N4, a guitar that he's made his own, when you see a Washburn N series now, you think of Nuno. Due to his rhythm playing and tone you could say his tone is Strat like, the glassy feel of the Strat, and no doubt if you played some of his songs on a strat it would sound good aswell. The N4 has it's own qualities, it sounds as raw as it looks. The Wasburn N4 also has a "Stevens" cutaway, which is a extented cutaway at the high frets behind the body.
